At Saya Pools, we believe that exceptional pool care starts with a personal connection. Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife duo Birdie and Kaine Okamoto, Saya Pools was born out of a simple passion: to bring reliable, high-quality, and deeply personalized service to our community’s backyards.

We are a true "Mom and Pop" business—and in the Summer of 2025, our team officially grew to three with the arrival of our baby boy, Kit!

Kaine Okamoto

Originally from Hawaii, Kaine moved to Las Vegas in 2006 to study business at UNLV. He soon found his true calling in the pool industry, spent years mastering complex diagnostics, and became an expert in repairs for all major equipment brands.

After years of working for "the other guy," Kaine wanted to do things differently. He set out to build a company that offered a level of honesty and personalized care that large corporations just couldn't match—and Saya Pools was born.

Today, Kaine brings elite technical expertise and island warmth to every backyard he services. Because he is always hands-on in the field making sure your pools are running perfectly, he is your go-to contact on his personal cell during business hours for all equipment repairs and complex pool chemistry questions—though you can rest assured we are always available to help in the event of an emergency.

Birdie Okamoto

Birdie moved to Las Vegas in 2022, which is where she met Kaine and their story began. Bringing a strong background in government administration and accounting, she possessed the perfect skill set to help take their shared vision to the next level. Ready for a new chapter, she left her career in government to pursue this new business venture and start a family of her own.

As the administrative heart of Saya Pools, Birdie ensures everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly. To get the fastest, most accurate response on your account, Birdie is your primary contact during business hours (Monday – Friday) for all scheduling adjustments, billing updates, and general account changes. Reaching out directly to Birdie allows Kaine to stay completely focused on hands-on pool care in the field and ensures your administrative needs are handled instantly.

Originally from California, Augie moved to Las Vegas and brings over 10 years of dedicated, hands-on experience to the pool industry. He is a true master of the routine route—highly skilled in everything from precision water chemistry balancing to advanced debris clearance and preventative maintenance. He is an early riser who takes immense pride in his consistency; if you are up with the sun, you just might catch him quietly working his magic to get your backyard oasis pristine and perfectly safe for the day ahead!

When he isn’t out in the field ensuring your water is flawless, Augie enjoys exploring the local Las Vegas food scene with his wife, staying active outdoors, and taking great pride in being an awesome dog dad to his pack at home.
